Days at Work

My name is Deshan and I am one of the COWIB interns for the summer.  My plan is to start school in the Fall and study criminal justice or dental hygiene.  This work experience will expose me to the real world work environment and give me experience in meeeting deadlines and working with others.  So far, I have become more comfortable and proficient with e-mails and filing.

Below is some addtional information about my work experience.

At the beginning of my work day I am joyful, but TIRED.  It is important to have positive work environment and one that is flexible. I am able to talk to anyone about the things that I don't understand, which is especially important at a new job.

By the afternoon during my work day I feel very alert.  Usually by this time if I haven't finished all of my tasks; I am feeling overwhelmed, but still determined to meet my deadlines.

By the end of my work day everything is DONE!  I have a sense of accomplishment and am ready to go home to my family.

A day at work, Deshan I fully understand everyting you are saying. I have gained alot of skills, so far as writing, typing, filing, emailing, and faxing. God brang things to your life to help you gain the strength to learn different things so that it can open up many doors for you. Sometime things can be overwhelmed but at the end of the process it makes you stonger and you will which were you needed to be. basically it will pay off in the end. I learned to keep my head high even when it is wrong because you will have others to help you learned from your mistakes. So you keep doing whats right and you will be blessed for it.
